Richard Jenkins

For several years we called him Junior.  He is often referred to as Junior.  But we also have a regular, local camper named Junior so we reverted to calling this one Richard.

Richard is Spence's team leader.  He works mainly at the Cosby Campground half an hour away over Mount Camerer.  He makes an occasional appearance here in Big Creek, usually on Spence's day off or for some special project.  I think he is a super-nice guy, but don't really know very much about him.  That's my fault for not asking him more questions.  He may be a bit shy or, maybe he is just quiet.

He stopped by this morning just for a few minutes.  We were on our way to run errands and Spence was talking with him about from personnel issues, so we still did not get to say much more than hello. I clearly need to fill out my Richard "character" in this Big Creek Journal.
